Ahsan Legal Services has launched a structured Pro Bono Legal Aid Program aimed at providing legal assistance to individuals who are unable to effectively pursue or protect their legal rights due to genuine financial hardship. This initiative reflects our commitment to the principle that access to justice should remain available to every individual, irrespective of financial capacity or social background.
Under this program, ALS intends to facilitate legal support in selected matters involving inheritance and succession disputes, family law issues including maintenance, child custody and dissolution of marriage, basic civil rights matters, false criminal cases, and other disputes involving genuine financial hardship. Commercial and corporate disputes are generally excluded from the scope of this initiative unless exceptional circumstances justify intervention.
Access to justice is one of the most important pillars of a civilized and democratic society. However, many individuals still face barriers in obtaining proper legal guidance and protection of their rights due to financial constraints, lack of awareness and procedural complexities.
Through the Access to Justice Initiative, ALS Pakistan aims to promote legal awareness and facilitate accessible legal assistance for the public through professional and digital legal services.
